Beginning on a near fantastical vibe and moving into a guitar-driven melody, B R O T H E R‘s debut single immediately grabs attention. With an atmosphere not so much bittersweet as it is semi-sweet (as in, there is an inherent richness to those layers of voices and synths), “Mobbin” demands you get lost among its hooks and rhythms. Not-quite shoegaze and not-quite dance, this electro-pop song finds a niche of its own. A feat for a debut.

B R O T H E R is a four piece hailing from Kansas City and thriving off the spirit of collaboration. Their influences sprawl from Chvrches to Kanye, and you can hear it in the mood of the track. With their debut EP to be released soon, this is one band you’re going to want to stay in the loop with. You can check out their Facebook page, SoundCloud, and website for any upcoming news and music.
