There’s an addictive bittersweet fuzz distortion that’s become popular with indie bands of late, and it’s great. Big Deal is an example of why.
The London duo’s new song “Veronica” (via Noisey) has a taste of everything: a sweet and resounding start (“I’m in love with everything. And everyone”), a dip down low before a joyous chorus, and an absolutely outstanding finish.
Big Deal is made up of Alice Costelloe and Kacey Underwood and the track, “Veronica”, comes from their third album, which is yet to be released, and follows previous records June Gloom and Lights Out. Keep up with Big Deal on Facebook or their website for more updates on what is looking to be an amazing album.
Bonus: It seems worthy to note that according to their Facebook, the band’s interests are solely “ice cream.” Who can’t get behind that?
