Record Store Day 2015 has brought a wave of fantastic new tracks. The internet is buzzing with news of releases and sales during this peak of the medium’s revival. A particularly exciting track comes from Blur, who — since the surprise announcement of their return — have been making news.

“My Terracotta Heart” is a slower, more mellow rhythmic track that is reminiscent of frontman Damon Albarn’s solo work, but is centred on Graham Coxon’s bittersweet guitar line. Where “Go Out” and “Lonesome Street” had hints of old Blur, this track has a definitive maturity.

The song is the fourth single from their upcoming album, The Magic Whip, following “Go Out“, “Lonesome Street“, and “There Are Too Many Of Us“. The album is set to be released on April 27th, 2015. Keep up with Blur on their website for more news.
