Their new track entitled “Bitter Blue” released early this morning and features calm and soothing production that’s nicely accompanied with soft lyrics that tell a story.
“We were both talking about how easy it is to get caught in this cyclical, adolescent and unfulfilling lifestyle. The track was kind-of a homage to our combined regrets of the last few years.”
It’s another example of how Boy Scout’s early work has demonstrated their humble beginnings.
First recorded in the duo’s bedroom studio, the finishing touches of “Bitter Blue” were done on a camping trip in the woods. When laying the track down, Boy Scout had the vocals recorded through tight leather pants that were stretched over a coat hanger in place of a pop-shield.
If that’s not enough, the artwork for each track is the product of their own creations which really gives their art a more personal touch.
