It feels like an increasingly rare occurrence to hear the raw, melting power of a guitar solo. Bushwick Blooze Band are offering this within their terrifically nostalgic blues track, “Lonely and Blue”. It doesn’t get more classic that this.

This may be the first single from the power trio based in New York, but they already have an album under the belt and another on the way. Yes Dear is forthcoming and has the assistance of Grammy-nominated mixer Daniel Alba to ensure the power of the songs are brought right to your ears.

With guitars at the forefront and smooth, close vocals catching on the melody, “Lonely and Blue” will have you meandering through the past with one foot tapping to the rhythms of six strings. At over six minutes, there is plenty of time to become lost in the story told, or one of your own.
