When CRUISR set out to write two new songs, they likely didn’t intend to predict two social events that would light up Twitter, but here we are, one week after release, with Meek Mill throwing shade on Toronto rapper Drake and the highest resolution photos of Pluto we’ve ever had, garnered on July 13th. Not only succeeding in social commentary, “Throw Shade” carries on CRUISR’s history of undeniably catchy hooks in its brief 2:53 run. The latter of their songs, Moving to Neptune, invites you on their jovial mission to Pluto’s neighbor. The combination of a strong base, courtesy of drummer Jon van Dine, and the great vocal layering of Andy States’ feel-good lyrics complete their newest music release.

Keep up with CRUISR’s steady flow of releases via their Soundcloud, Twitter, and Facebook.
