New Jersey’s Da$h, Los Angeles’ Domo Genesis and Queens emcee Remy Banks have joined forces for angsty new track “4:50 AM”. The three have been running in the same Hip Hop circles for a substantial period of time now, each in their own right having some way or the other collaborated with Earl Sweatshirt, and Vince Staples. The artists have also worked together in varying combinations in the past (see “Intoxicated Scarfaces” or “More Clouds“), but have this week put together their three minds on one track for the first time.
“4:50 AM” is a chilling strings and piano driven onslaught of rabid twilight angst and frustration, with production from Detroit’s Black Noi$e. There are no glamorous features or clean and catchy hooks, just three off-the-radar rappers spilling their vices on the track.
