Orlando artist Cam James returns with his latest single, “F.Y.F.”- a bitter break-up anthem, sure to resonate with anyone who’s ever lost love.
Coming off of his ode to IG models in “Pose”, this mostly nonfiction track
details the ups and downs of anger, jealousy and dismissal that follow an emotional breakup.
Cam takes that anger and resentment and channels it into this song through heavy beats and some swift-kicking lyrics. The words alternate between speaking directly to his former flame, assuring her that she’s missing out on greatness, and boosting his own fragile ego. While listening, you get angrier along with Cam at your own ex and finally convince yourself (if you haven’t already) that they’re missing out too.
From the haunting intro synths to the incredible verse drop, The Cratez laces this one with enough fire to wake up even the sleepiest of fans. Let us know what you think of “F.Y.F.,” below and check out James’ SoundCloud here.
