Signed, sealed, delivered and ready to be heard, Boston based hip-hop artist, Fade has gifted us his latest single, premiering exclusively on the #NSM homepage.

Entitled “If I Die Today”, the introspective record references the all too familiar (and unfortunate) anxieties that certain communities of people deal with on a daily basis. Whether it’s the track’s references of police harassment or the senseless violence that the aforementioned communities deal with, the message of Fade’s track is clear: Life can end at any moment, and if we’re not made aware of the realities of this situation, nothing will be able to change.

“The price of life is deemed cheap where I grew up, and in many similar places like it around the country. I had some good friends that passed due to senseless violence. And police harassment was and is something common growing up. Life’s too short and can end abruptly. This is the point I wanted to get across with this song.” – Fade

Produced by Simon SMTHNG, “If I Die Today” will act as the leading single to Fade’s upcoming project, With The Grain.

With The Grain will also include features/production from Rick Ross, Sir Michael Rocks, Fly Union, tye hill (who produced the upcoming Ross track), & more.

Stream “If I Die Today” above via SoundCloud and if you like what you hear be sure to keep up with all things Fade on Twitter and Instagram.
