Produced by Malay (Frank Ocean, Lorde, Sam Smith) and co-written by FLETCHER, “Undrunk” is as catchy as it is honest. With an inviting melody and refreshingly raw lyrics, the song forms a genuine articulation of the emotions one can feel when dealing with a breakup and a broken heart.
Though its her first release since signing with Capitol back in the Summer of 2018, FLETCHER is no stranger to the music industry.
The world was first introduced to FLETCHER back in 2011, when she was still known as Cari Fletcher, having a stint on Simon Cowell’s The X Factor.
The shedding of her first name and a string of successful independent releases followed, including 2016’s “Wasted Youth”, which hit #1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart, and 2018’s “I Believe You”, an emotionally powerful song, in which portions of the proceeds went to Time’s Up for Women’s History Month.
Over 100-Million streams later and performances on some of today’s biggest festival stages (Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Life Is Beautiful, etc.), FLETCHER has continued to make a name for herself, leading to PAPER Magazine naming her “one of the most exciting female artists to emerge in Pop”.
The road is just beginning for FLETCHER and New Sick Music can’t wait for what’s next.
