Boston emcee Hadish is ‘finna be on’ in his new Tye Hill produced track “On”. Premiered by RESPECT Magazine, “On” is a cut from Hadish’s upcoming anticipated project The Clarks, which is set to officially drop on July 21st.
Speaking of the visuals to RESPECT, Hadish said:
“…a lot of my ideas are implemented within the video but he definitely brings his spark — as well and elevates it to a whole another level. I trust in his expertise with the post-production that it’ll come out looking dope.”
Hadish’s story is a remarkable one in itself; raised on the East coast, Hadish is the son of a guerilla soldier who fought in the Ethiopian civil war of the 1980’s. As a first generation American, Hadish was versed in Hip Hop by the early influence of Nas, 2Pac and Gangstarr, the influence of which can definitely be heard in his latest releases (think the clearly “Until The End of Time” influenced bars “I sip a fifth of Hennessy / plea the fifth, even for my enemies” in “On”). A Syracuse University graduate, Hadish has already made an impact on the Boston Hip Hop scene after collaborating with $hamel on a project which featured the likes of Sir Michael Rocks and Pac Div.
