West Coast rapper Hopsin is set to release his fourth studio album, Pound Syndrome, on July 24th via Funk Volume, a record label he co-founded with Damien “DAME” Ritter. The album’s first single “Crown Me” was released on May 31st and showed plenty of reason to be excited, but it’s “Fly”, the next single out that’s going to set the tone for the rest of the record.
Released earlier today as a music video, Hopsin takes our minds on a trip and explains everything that’s wrong with today’s society. Set in a college lecture hall, Hopsin takes the floor for his class project and uses his time to encourage us to “open our minds and fly” and to “focus on our lives and the path we’re pursuing”.
