For a three-piece outfit, Phoenix-based rock band Jane N’ The Jungle sure ride the crest of their own giant energy wave. Known for killer live shows and high-octane music (Guitar solos? Check. Rising rhythms and passion-fuelled vocals? Double check.), Jane N’ The Jungle are set to release their new record. “Little Blue” is coming in at the forefront.
The album-setting track is, in a word, powerful. 90s and 00s influences collide, but there is plenty of contemporary Paramore vibes in there as well. Vocalist Jordan White paints a picture of wide-open vulnerability decked out in leather and warpaint mascara.
The clip was filmed in the famous Viper Room in West Hollywood and showcases the strength in the band’s live performances. When we aren’t watching the show videos layer up, we watch as White accosts the camera on the city streets. It takes a lot to steal the show from a city lit with strong contrast and upped saturation, but White takes the reigns and brings the viewer on her journey, following her lead.
