LIILY are in the process of kicking off an exciting career. Just watch the comments flow in on their debut video for their debut single from their debut EP — a video and song that was advertised across social media, drawing an audience of converts instantly. That’s the kind of hook and energy that LIILY bring. So buckle in or get ready to run: “Toro” is coming for you.
The band appears onscreen in a warehouse with all the aesthetic of an 00s pop-punk band, but all the energy of 90s grunge. The electric guitar jumps into a melodic riff that drives the track until the track rockets on the chorus: Dylan Nash gives a strong performance as the band’s frontman. As you might expect from this group of young musicians (that’s another thing — their oldest member has just 19 years behind him) the video dives into the absurd. A man in the mask of a bull arrives to push over the drum kit and launch into a chase. There is no escape from the rage of this bull.
LIILY have already hooked plenty of new fans who are awaiting the release of their EP, which will also be called Toro. Join the wave and check out LIILY’s website, Facebook page, and Spotify. You can also follow the band on Twitter.
