When Lil Peep first died, I was among the fans that were left sad, and distraught. I always have had mixed feelings when it comes to post-humous releases, but when this project was first announced I felt differently. Lil Peep’s life was taken from us way too prematurely, and he still had so much to give.
Upon first listen to “COWYS2,” I was left in chills. Thanks to the blessing of Lil Peep’s mother, I knew that this project would be done right, but I did not know that it would be done this well. It captured the energy Lil Peep displayed, the emotions were raw, and for the first time in awhile I was truly left without words upon my first listen.
Thank you Lil Peep for letting people in dark places know that they are not alone. Thank you for sharing your feelings and emotions openly so that others could express themselves through your music. Thank you Lil Peep!
“Come Over When You’re Sober, PT 2” is out now across all platforms, and I really urge everyone to check it out and share it with others![upme view=compact id=59]
