2014 was an incredibly productive year for South London rapper Loyle Carner. Among other things, Loyle supported Brooklyn’s Joey Bada$$ on the U.K leg of his world tour, collaborated and toured with acclaimed UK artist Kate Tempest and released his debut A Little Late EP to an all-round congratulatory reception. Now he has some attention, 2015 brings new prospects for the 19 year old lyricist, and he has today whetted our appetites with the release of new track ‘Mufasa’ which features production from Chicago based CoryaYo. “CoryaYo sent the beat over a little while back, but I wrote and recorded it out on tour with Kate,” Carner told Life And Times, whom he premiered the track with, “When we got back I pinged it over to my little brother and he gave it the thumbs up. It’s just a little snippet of the music that’s been in the making since the EP.”

Listen to ‘Mufasa’ above, and catch up on Loyle’s breakthrough EP ‘A Little Late’ here.
