Chicago’s biggest H2O fan Mick Jenkins has released two fresh tracks , ahead of a new EP/project (we don’t know much about it yet) entitled Sip! All Jenkins has said of the project so far is that it is “a collection of shit I’ve been working on with THEMpeople featuring theMIND.”

“Grenade Theory” features a smooth and medidative beat from experimental Chicago producer THEMpeople, guest vocals from theMIND, and a socially aware rap verse from Jenkins himself, mulling over life in The Windy City and lack of opportunity  for the youth– “They told me drive slow / I’m from Chicago, I’m innately expecting a couple potholes”.

“$3000 Advice” is a more upbeat track, featuring bouncy production from THEMpeople again, and an absolutely killer hook from Mick, with all the usual references to his favourite beverages water and ginger beer.

We will let you know more about Sip! when we know!
