It’s a brand new week for music and #NSM is ready to kick things off in high gear with the homepage debut of popular indie electro-rock group, OYLS.

OYLS, the creative venture of LA’s own David Kirshenbaum and Michael Lipp, have been consistently working hard to put together a new and innovative sound that showcases their quest to be different, while also ensuring their sound appeals to a wide audience.

This goal has been achieved with their latest single, “Maps”, a track that’s lead to comparisons between the duo and other popular acts such as Alt-J and DisclosureScreen Shot 2016-05-16 at 7.49.31 PM

Recorded in Kirshenbaum’s parents dining room with a single microphone and a laptop, “Maps” has an addicting sound that can’t help but put a smile on your face. It’s a smooth and inspiring track that acts as the reassuring voice you need to relax and help understand whatever it is that’s putting you down, “it’s alright”, and things are going to get better.

“Maps” has surely been picking up speed as the track presently holds the #6 spot on Spotify’s Viral Top 50, so be sure to let the vibes take over and stream “Maps” in all its glory above!

Through partnering with major media networks including MTV, OYLS’ fan base has been steadily growing, so make sure to follow them on Twitter and Soundcloud so you can join the party and connect with them!
