Electronic innovator SBTRKT just keeps making music that is more and more out there – but fortunately, increasing good. His latest release, “arcasheepedit125,” sounds like something out of a science fiction movie, although that’s nothing new for this avant-garde producer. SBTRKT sampled Arca’s “Sheep (Hood by Air FW15)” (hence, the name of his song) and according to his caption on SoundCloud, “built a track edit around it.” For those unfamiliar with the Arca track (including me, prior to this post), it’s violently sci-fi. SBTRKT’s song is much calmer, but still keeps the eerie, mysterious vibe that is in the original. Give it a listen above.
