“In the face of the events taking place in Dallas-Fort Worth I felt as if it was completely necessary to speak via my art. That art has come to life in the form of “Malcolm & Martin” featuring Jaeson Green.”

– Tawaine Hall

Hall has been known to stay true to the music he likes to make instead of conforming to what’s trendy.

“I really make what I feel is timeless versus what is currently trendy” – Tawaine Hall

Produced by Big Tra, “Malcolm & Martin” starts off with a portion of a Malcolm X speech before transitioning into a honest and heartfelt verse from Hall that brings the #BlackLivesMatter movement back into the open and doesn’t shy away from talking about the things we need to do be doing but haven’t been. The track also features Jaeson Green who delivers a strong verse of his own as well as a catchy hook that pays homage to the dreams of both Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr., two civil rights activists that defined ways to fight for what you believe in.
