Since performing “U Mad” at a show with Kanye in London about a month ago, the world has been waiting on the release of the single from Vic Mensa. Last night Vic played the song in its entirety at a DJ set in Chicago and it looks as though we’re about to get an HQ version.

A few weeks ago now, rumors swirled that we’d be hearing the CDQ version of Kanye’s “Wolves” featuring Mensa from Kanye’s upcoming release So Help Me God but we are unfortunately still waiting on that. For now we’d be happy with the release of one of these collabs.

The Internet seems to believe that the song will be released around noon today. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Vic Mensa (born June 6, 1993), is an American hip hop recording artist from Chicago, Illinois. He was a member of the group Kids These Days, which broke up in May 2013. Following their breakup he released his first major mixtape INNANETAPE. Vic Mensa is also founder of the hip-hop collective SAVEMONEY with frequent collaborator Chance The Rapper. In February, Kanye West debuted his second song from his upcoming album, called “Wolves”, featuring Vic Mensa and Sia, during his first Adidas Originals x Kanye West fashion show. The song is the first track of West’s next album. Mensa performed “Wolves” alongside West and Sia on Saturday Night Live’s 40th Anniversary Show.
